Sleeping Bear Dunes (18” x 24”)
There’s nothing like a Michigan summer. Staying out late to see the fireflies. The smell of a fire peacefully crackling somewhere down the street. Soft sunlight beaming across a smooth Lake Michigan. I painted Sleeping Bear Dunes to capture that magical feeling of a Michigan summer spent up north walking barefoot to the ice cream parlor and watching the light dim over the sand dunes.
