It can be hard to introduce my paintings, but I’m finding it especially so with Frosted Meadow. Maybe because it feels so alive and personable. It feels as if it can best be introduced when you meet it yourself. It’s soft, warm-hearted, daring, and incredibly peaceful — a deep smile that starts in your gut. The colors and movements are so soft and smooth, they almost become elusive. I felt happy while painting it, and I think that joy seeps out of the painting when you are near it. It fills the room with its quiet, calm energy and immediately feels like home. I’ve never painted a piece quite as magnetic as this, and I’m very proud of it.
